Tomorrow, I will attempt to make this. Because I got sucked in by bloody tesco and their "buy lots of clementines get lots free" offer, and now I have too many and they are going dodgy, so there we are! Seems easy enough. I might reveal results at some point!

So. I'm going to write this AS IF I had an audience. And then perhaps the AS IF might turn into a REAL audience. Well let's see. I'm starting this because I want and need somewhere to record things that I like, read, watch, and do in one place. I wish I were a scrap-booker, but my good intentions always fail and I feel that maybe the internet will force me onwards. Also, I need something to do as I've just started working from home, and the work I used to to in the office will only fill a couple of hours each day - pah! I intend to start making stuff (I'm good at that) and set up an etsy shop, and the blog will hopefully be a prop for that too. Honesty! Is the best.

I'm a fashion designer, sort of. I work for a small supplier that tries to force their wares on such glorious establishments as Primark and New Look, although my designs rarely make it that far as the people I work with (only two of them) mostly cut me short and put me onto the much more important task of:

" Just do a version of this Topshop combat trouser. It needs to be the same but different. No not THAT different, more like the original. Yes that's better, but a bit more different. Take off that button, and remove that seam. Okay now put it back...."

etc. Thrilling. And now that the money is slowly dripping out of the company, I've been sent to set up at home, saving office costs, and allowing me to, among other things, write this blog and make my lunch at home. Hooray!

Ok, the blog. Firstly, the name. It took me a really long time to think of a good name for my own little blog, and I don't even know if I have one now, but as a round, curved sort of person who works in stick-thin fashion, I thought some reference to that might be good. At least for now. One day I might pay a tenner to get my own special website name for a couple of years, but there might not be a point. So this is a test! And my first rambling has gone on long enough. Goodbye my AS IF audience. I may return soon.
